If anyone can point me in the direction of what I seek, I'd appreciate it. Is FreeFileSync free for commercial use Yes, FreeFileSync may be used in business, commercial, and government environments without cost. For each 1 GB of RAM, FreeFileSync can synchronize roughly 1.7 million file pairs at a time. I know Drive is an option I'm currently creating a full backup on drive, but I don't want to rely just on Cloud-based backups. FreeFileSync imposes no artificial limitationson how many files you can sync. I also have profiles that copy files we're really. If one drive dies, I have a complete copy on the other.
Profiles copy new files fromThe Files app in Chromebook is useless it will just create a carbon copy of an existing folder, and I'm not sure if there is another file manager that will do what I need. I have a moderately complex home network with a robust file backup schema that is driven by Syncback SE profiles. However, I have not yet found a good equivalent for Chromebook. Having SyncBackFree was a massive time-saver, being able to just add any changes/new files/folders to the destination drive was great. SyncbackFree being one of these I am an Independent Language Trainer and have always had the habit of backing up my pro laptop several times a month onto several external hard drives I'm somewhat paranoid about losing my 'professional life' if the laptop goes south. However, there are certain Windows Apps that I haven't yet found an equivalent for. Recent convert to Chromebook, even better than I thought it would be.
